Cross the bridge from the cycle path to find a campsite with a cafe.

Lovely quiet lane and climb to Eastbach, steady assent, with a few steeper ramps. treelined funnel and a grassy centre. As you pass Eastbach Court, a super view over farmland and rolling hills towards English Bicknor and beyond.

White Gates a great meeting point of a number of tracks and trails, either continue on the family trail, the sculpture trail or be a bit more adventurous on one of the others! Most of these tracks can be worked in loops of varying distance or can be used to transit to other parts of the forest 👌

2024: The Stowfield Viaduct (known also as Black Bridge) is closed! It’s not possible to cross the river Wye!!!

It was a very nice and enjoyable walk good if you don't like very hill walks. when we got to the caves we decided to take another footpath that said it was quicker and because it was raining and the path was next to a cliff face we were stuck for like half an hour until we found a dirt road that lead down the hill . other than that good walk and cool bridge
