Bring climbing apparatus and a dog hoist to descend the sheer drop onto a main road.

Starts to get a bit rougher underwheel as the wood becomes less manicured. This way for a larger loop of Westonbirt. I didn't see a soul.

The pub offers quality pub food classics and snacks as well as drinks and snacks. Food served Mon to Fri 12:00 - 14:00 and 18:00 - 20:30. Sat 12:00 - 14:30 and 17:00 - 20:30 and Sun 12:00 - 19:30.

Another delightful Cotswolds village. A very nice pub... the Cat and Custard Pot... great name! The church of St. John the Baptist is also quite striking with its unusual bell tower.

Don't just stick to the path... go wandering around the trees in this area... you'll find some hidden wonders.

A group of cedars which provide a secret "cavern". There are also some particularly stunning silver birches close by.

Great views of the arboretum and very interesting to get a literal bird's eye view. At present a one-way system is being employed... access from the maim entrance side.

A great walkway where you feel as tall as the trees

Great alternative to the main road, taking you to the network of quiet roads surrounding Westonbirt village.

Built a couple of years back by Stihl, almost entirely from wood, it winds it's way across the tree tops not far from the entrance and leads to Silk Wood.

One of just a few wood sculptures at the Arboretum, can be found on Loop Walk

Beautiful in any season with variety of trees including several 'baby' redwoods only about 150 years old. Get your arms around that!
