This wonderful parkland on the edge of Taunton was created by local volunteers in team with the parish council and Forestry Commission. More than 5,000 native trees have been planted and it's a haven for wildlife. Perfect for a stroll or as part of a longer walk, there are plenty of paths to explore here.

Lying on the outskirts of Taunton in the village of Staplegrove, St John's church dates back to the 13th century and has an original arch. Much of the rest of the church's features are 19th century, with the building having undergone significant renovation over the centuries. St John's has a peaceful, vibrant churchyard with stunning trees and a pretty lych gate.
