Someone thoughtfully left a bucket of oats for this forest pony, who seems to have grazed all the surrounding grass.

This is a delightful little chapel on an elevated plot with fine views. A 1st WW war grave in the cemetery.

The Talbot is a particular favourite, they brew their own selection of excellent beers, and the food is superb too! It is also in a great location alongside the River Teme and below Ankerdine Hill. The little chapel in the photo above is actually the Knightwick Mortuary Chapel, and it is up a nearby hill, about 3/4 of a mile from the Talbot.

Nipple Well lies on the slopes of Nipple Coppice. More of a spring really, this "well" is being managed by the forestry company to enhance drainage. Forestry roads are well kept but muddy in all but the longest droughts.

Excellent home made cakes! Run by volunteers.

Church of St Mary Magdalene in centre of Alfrick village. Thought to date back to Alfred's time in 800s the present church was likely built in 1300s. Some lovely stonework & woodwork, clearly a well used & much loved church. Definitely worth a visit.

A latin cross, with embellished extremities, with figure of Christ on column set on square plinth, with carved dedication and names, all standing on 3 step octagonal base and on a further octagonal pavement.
