ブラムリーのおすすめランニングルート

2026年5月、金曜日の午後の半ばに通りかかったときは、開いていて賑わっていました。巡礼者のスタンプがあり、カフェのほかにも品揃えの良い（ただし££）お店があり、軽食（私がしたように）やフルコースの食事を楽しんだり、その代わりに、またはそれに加えて、ここで1食か2食分の材料を手に入れることができました。

日曜日の午後に訪れましたが、スタッフは本当に素晴らしかったです。サンデーローストを提供していましたが、他の料理もありました。スープは美味しく、ライドを終えるのに役立ちました！

Decent menu and well priced

The Iron Duke is a friendly hostelry, situated on the outskirts of Stratfield Saye. There are many Kms of quiet lanes that I always have enjoyed over many years, going off in various directions. Definitely worth a visit, whether for a beer or just a coffee.

***Update October 2025 - After about 18 months of closure it's back! Only open on Sundays and Wednesdays at the moment (also Bank Holidays), but it's back nonetheless.*** Friendly country pub. Has a drinking water tap in the garden and barman was keen to let me know that they're happy for this to be used out of hours. Probably best not to take the p!ss, but good to know.

A little shelter at Fair Cross just outside Stratfield Saye. Perfect spot to stop for a quick refuel mid ride.

Rather oddly, this private dwelling has a small "clock tower" on its garage roof. At the time of my first visit the clock was either broken or running behind by about 30-35 minutes...

Luscious fields of rapeseed flowers in fool bloom in May... the scenery around here is so calming and relaxing, perfect to clear your head from the stress of everyday life and well worth a stop for a picture!
