Great views from the top of the hill, nice place to run to and enjoy the views from the top!

This is a beautiful park just off the High Street. Sandford Park is one of Cheltenham's lesser known little paradises. Apart from the park and gardens there is a large play area for kids.

From here you can enjoy an absolute corker of a view across the Severn Vale, with magnificent views towards Robinswood Hill and May Hill, and the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountain and beyond.

"Don't miss Cheltenham's most iconic Regency feature; The Caryatids in Montpellier. These 'armless ladies' are a type of column which support the architectural facades of the chic boutiques in Montpellier Walk. Dating from 1840 they are loosely based on classical models on the Acropolis in Athens and are a form of decoration used extensively in 19th century France. There are 32 Caryatids in total, two were originally sculpted in terracotta by a London artist called Rossi and the remainder were copied by a local Cheltenham man." The Neptune Fountain - purported to have been modelled as an ode to the Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy - sits outside the Municipal Buildings on The Promenade. At night, it is beautifully lit, and creates an eye-catching focal point on Cheltenham’s famous avenue. Great hardpack riding with a bit of mud and incredible views

A lovely track through the woods. Great to do with the descent from Buckholt Road (the climb is tough) or link up the with the highlight that takes you up to Birdlip.
