Apparently they're going to be rebuilt at some point in the future at an estimated cost of £220k. 😅 Typical local council shenanigans... Don't make the structure safe or put a fence around it... Spend quarter of a million quid to build a new replica. 🤡

Dominated by the resident heron, who didn't care one jot about all the noisy families picnicking nearby. 😅

From this lovely wide gravel track you are afforded lovely views across the Nottinghamshire countryside toward Underwood and Felley.

Take a seat on the bench and enjoy far-reaching views across the superb countryside surrounding this area.

The Reserve, created on the site of the former Brinsley Colliery and the old mineral railway line that linked the colliery with Underwood, consists of a variety of habitats, which are linked by well-established paths, most of which can be walked throughout the year.
