Toilets immaculate and staff friendly and helpful. Closed Monday and Tuesday from 1730 Wed Thurs Fri. 1200 Sat and Sunday. Well worth a stop.

Fotheringhay Castle is where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned before being executed and was an important stronghold during the Wars of the Roses!

Not much left of the castle now just a mound of earth. Its where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned before she was beheaded. Nice views over the Nene.
