This church is located next to the city walls and, together with the church of San Juan Bautista, formed the fortified area that protected the medieval town.

Surrounded by vineyards, this artificial lagoon has recently been drained to prevent the spread of invasive species, but it remains an important breeding ground for various birds. The wetland has a bird observatory.

If you are interested in an "alpine" hike, you should definitely take the summit path from Puerto de Toro.

El Ciego is an exemplary municipality in the province of Logroño as it is surrounded by cultivated vineyards and a set of wine cellars. Surrounding it are the fields of vineyards that offer a landscape archetype typical of this area.
