このビバーク避難小屋は非常にユニークな建物で、基本的にはドア、窓、雨水を集めるための貯水槽、そしてその汲み上げのための手動ポンプを備えた部屋で構成されています。これは、衛生処理が全くされていない水であることを覚えておく必要があります。 このような孤立した地域で、牧羊者にとって維持管理と良好な状態が不可欠であるこれらの避難小屋の使用においては、特に敬意を払うことが重要です。 「Bosques del Sur」と表示されたトレイルを進むと、15番目の区間の11.4キロメートル地点で見つけることができます。

Last year in August (2024) it was brimming with energy and enthusiasm, but this year (2025) it's dry again. There's water, but it doesn't even fill half the pool. The water filters a few meters down, into Fuente Segura de Abajo.

The river valley and its tributaries with gorges and waterfalls are the main attraction for numerous hikers.

The "Cerrada" of the Castril River is an impressive ravine that has been formed over time. Using the walkways attached to the walls, visitors can take a tour high above the river, crossing a suspension bridge until they reach a gallery carved into the rock that leads to a beautiful natural balcony from which to admire the magnificent landscape.

Bunk bed and wooden bed, table and bench, double glazed windows and even hangers on the wall. The only thing that didn't work was the water pump, but I don't know if it's because there's no water in the pool or the pump is broken. It's common to see it occupied some days in summer. Today it was empty. I take this opportunity to thank the users for preserving it and leaving it, at least, in the same condition.

We owe the innkeepers a great deal of gratitude. We were caught in a hailstorm on March 30, 2022 and arrived at the kiosk completely frozen. The kiosk was closed. But the innkeepers let us in and we were allowed to warm ourselves up by the fire. We are very grateful to them for this and therefore highly recommend this restaurant.
