Beautiful route to Galera.

This area near Castillejar is often called the Bad Lands due to the fact that it resembles the Badlands National Park in the US.

Here you will find an ancient cemetery dating back to the 5th century BC. Archaeologists have learned a lot about Iberian culture from this site.

Galera is a nice little town surrounded by good mountain biking trails. It has some interesting archaeological sites and other things to see.

It is a privileged place where you can savor the impressive views of the Zumeta river valley. Behind us is the Jaén town of Santiago de la Espada, and in front on the right is the border with the province of Granada and further on that of Albacete.

The San Clemente Reservoir is an impressive water reserve located in Húescar. The water that accumulates in it is used mainly for irrigation. This reservoir offers a beautiful natural landscape surrounded by mountains and a great variety of flora and fauna.

Galera is a municipality in the Huéscar region, surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes and has a rich archaeological and cultural heritage, highlighting its Iberian sites and its Baroque-style church.

Small hermitage located at the foot of the Sierra de La Sagra. The space has a recreational area with large stone tables where you can take a break on the route in an area surrounded by nature.
