A small and charming 18th century church located in the town of Verdido, San Martiño de Verdido, is an ideal focal point for walks through this region of A Lama. It has a small parking area and a normally functioning water fountain.

Throughout this mountainous area of Galicia there are ancient trade routes. The Liñares bridge over the Xesta River was a vital link between these communities that is still used today.

Considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Galicia, the Freixa water near Liñares is one of the must-do hikes. The Xesta River falls over the granite rocks forming this natural wonder.

Large car park and access to the trail to the numerous waterfalls and bathing pools (Fervenza do Touron, Fervenza das Mestas and Pozas de Melon).

Another access to the trail and the waterfalls/swimming pools. There are also 2-3 parking spaces on the side edge.

A beautiful path leads to and along the bathing pools, most of which runs over natural stone steps. It's always a bit uphill from the parking lot. Still running very well overall.

There are several beautiful waterfall cascades here. In the summer, the large waterfall does not carry as much water, but there is still enough water in the pools to bathe. Also perfect for chilling out and enjoying the sun, as there are many loungers.

Very nice waterfall including a large bathing pool. Access is not easy, as it is only possible with a little scrambling. But also worth seeing from the vantage point. Even in midsummer, the Badegumpe is still filled with water so that you can swim in it.
