English: At the foot of the 11th-century church, overlooking a breathtaking panorama of Lake Geneva and the Alps, a plot of land belonging to the municipality was transformed into La Vigne du Monde (The Vineyard of the World) in 1996. Since then, each year, the winemakers welcome a guest country whose typical grape varieties are planted on one of the micro-terraces that make up this international vineyard. In 1996, Savoie kicked things off, and La Vigne du Monde featured Mondeuse Blanche and Noire, Viognier, Roussanne, Altesse, and Cabernet Sauvignon. A year later, the guests of honor were Ukraine and Georgia. Portugal, Spain, Romania, and Luxembourg are just a few of the European countries that have been featured. Argentina and South Africa have allowed non-European grape varieties to make their appearance at the foot of the Féchy church steeple. In 2011, New Zealand joined the project, adding another continent to the mix. Ultimately, no fewer than 58 grape varieties are carefully tended by the winemakers of the municipality. In September, these grapes are harvested and then vinified separately to create a special cuvée. A good vintage

Aubonne Castle is a medieval fortress located in the commune of Aubonne, in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Built before 1197, it has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries. Perched on a hill, it overlooks the town and the Aubonne ravine, offering a beautiful panorama of the surrounding area and Lake Geneva. In addition to the castle, the town of Aubonne boasts a rich architectural heritage with its picturesque alleyways, terraced houses, and its Protestant church built in 1577 from the former Catholic church of Trévelin. Nearby, the Arboretum du Vallon de l'Aubonne houses a collection of over 3,000 species of trees and shrubs from around the world, while the Parc du Signal de Bougy offers leisure activities for the whole family.

From the shore you can let your gaze wander far across the lake, all the way to the Alps on the other side.

A large part of the route along the lake is not permitted for pedestrians. The most beautiful route for me along the l'Aubonne and finally the beach🥵 🏊‍♀️🌴🌴
