The Maquinenza reservoir is one of the swamps located between the Aragonese and Catalan provinces. Its body meanders along a depressed and dry area for many months of the year, where the contrast of the water with the whitish soils makes it very careful and beautiful!

The relief of the town of La Almolda is characterized by the plain that represents the arid landscape typical of the region to which it belongs, only altered by some scattered hills and the foothills of the Sierra de Alcubierre to the north of the town.

At the top of the town of La Almolda there is the Hermitage of Santa Quiteria, where not only is the hermitage beautiful but also the views it offers of the Monegros. Nearby, there is a bank called "MonegrosEnamora".

Candasnos is one of those centers that is located in an area far from the rest. It appears between Fraga and the direction of Zaragoza in an arid area of hills that has created the passage of water through the sedimentary lands. Candasnos is located around the passage of torrents and rivers, in an elevated area.

Close to the town of Candasnos there is this wet area where you can find a large number of birds and fauna close to a population center. Nice space to rest and have a good time!

From this high area you have a view of the immensity of the Ebro flow.
