The Cova de les Finestres is located in the Barranc del Pont Trencat, in the municipality of Alfafara. These artificial caves from the Andalusian period look like windows from the outside and are carved in the middle of a steep cliff, generally in river valleys and ravines. It consists of 12 window caves, precisely carved into the hard limestone rock. These windows, looking out into the void, are between 4 and 10 meters high, on a large natural shelter. From a distance, their presence arouses curiosity and intrigue, and questions arise: What secrets are they hiding? Are there rooms behind them? What was its function?

We make the excursion from Alfafara to Onteniente in an anti-clockwise direction, returning through Bocairente. Long route, more than 20km but quite affordable. Very entertaining and with many interesting things along the way.

These are 12 artificial caves that look like windows built in the middle of a steep cliff. You can access them and inside some of the caves are about 4 m high and are interconnected. According to studies, the function of the caves has been as a granary and warehouse.

The Don Miguel cellar is located on the northern crest of the Sierra de Mariola at 1,050 meters above sea level. Its external appearance is characterized by the buttresses that it was necessary to build to raise the altitude of the deposit. The interior of the plant is circular, covered with large masonry and with mortar. In the lower areas, carved rock with signs of drilling holes can be seen. It has a diameter of 14.50 meters and a height of 10.20 meters.
