I don't know whether you'll see this enchanting bloom there in a year or two. But this stunningly wonderful bloom was worth creating a highlight for me. I'd never seen it before! My companion, Steve, pointed it out to me. I would have easily missed it. The columbine is a medicinal plant and has antiseptic, sedative, astringent, and wound-cleansing properties. The flowers are usually visible from May to July.

Small wooden artwork whose decorations look like cuneiform writing, that's why I named this highlight like that.

A beautiful and well maintained castle. Is privately owned and cannot be visited. The narrow street winds past the castle up the Isar slope. Very idyllic.

The keep dates from the time the castle was built, the 12th/13th centuries. Century. Kronwinkl Castle has been owned by the Preysing family since it was built. The residential buildings were built in the 16th and 17th centuries. Century at the Gothic ring wall.

Very impressive, but unfortunately not open to visitors.
