The view extends all the way to the Mediterranean Sea

The church tower of the "Iglesia de la Purísima Concepción" (Church of the Immaculate Conception) dominates the central town square. The church was built in the 18th century (around the time La Nucía became an independent municipality) on an imposing base of stone from the "Serreta," a nearby quarry. Quarrying was of great importance to La Nucía at that time, and consequently, to the local architecture. Today, the La Nucía municipal offices are located here on the Plaça Major (Main Square).

The "Font de la Favara" area is the green lung of La Nucía. Here, in addition to the springs, you'll find an impressive 5-meter-high waterfall. The lush vegetation makes La Favara a cool and refreshing place to be, even on hot summer days. You'll also find swings for children, a picnic area, and a beautiful garden with native plants. La Favara offers a unique panoramic view of the region.
