A beautiful village in the PINARES region, in the province of Soria

From the Cuerda del Pozo reservoir dam there are two views, each one more impressive. On one side, the dammed water fills the bottom of the valley and forms a mirror for the mountains. In the other, the river again runs naturally through the bottom of the depression and slips through the foliage.

Escobosa de Calatañazor is a well-known town in the area that is uninhabited to this day and that even had electric light. Its name comes from the small river that passes by it and has the same name.

This small road takes you directly from what is said to be the source of the Río Abión, which is between what is called the Fuentona Natural Monument.

Above the Sierra de Cabrejas is this viewpoint that allows you to observe the entire town of Abejar and the Cuerda del Pozo Reservoir, with the Sierra Cebollera in the background. Can't miss it!

Mountain pass that reaches more than one thousand three hundred meters in height and has a length of just over seven kilometers on a four percent percentage.
