Here begins an uphill section through forests

The Mirador de las Peñas del Veladero, located in the municipality of Requejo (Zamora), is a spectacular natural balcony overlooking the Sanabria region, ideal for hiking, photography, and nature lovers.

The Tejedelo Forest, located in Requejo de Sanabria, Zamora, is a magical place that transports you to a fairy tale among ancient beings. Here, more than a hundred ancient yew trees, up to a thousand years old, surround you and invite you to recharge your energy in their haven of peace and beauty.

As soon as we start the Tejedelo route, we come across this recreational area where there are several tables where you can sit down to enjoy a country meal in the shade of the trees and with the coolness of the river.

Impressive set of yews. Although the most spectacular are those in the area of the wooden walkways, there are other beautiful specimens on the descent from the Peñas de Veladero viewpoint.

The climb to this viewpoint is worth it not only for the views but also for the walk through the forest.

Stone bridge over the Bibei river as it approaches the mountain town of Porto. The cradle of the Bibei River is a magical place that makes you feel like you are at the end of the world.

We continue along the picturesque path that brings us closer to the Aguas Cernidas waterfall. Nice path between large oaks that will be great for us on hot days.
