Great view along the coast to the lighthouse. Built in 1785, most likely by Russian prisoners of war, it's one of Sweden's most famous lighthouses.

Orminge pipe,an imposing limestone tower, was built to help ships navigate along the coast. It's built on an Iron Age site, and was once the seat of a farming clan.

Ottenby lund is the largest continuous area of deciduous forest on southern Öland. It's also one of Sweden's most famous spots for birdwatchers and ornithologists. This is one of the most beautiful parts of the reserve, between forest and meadow.

Climb up to the top of the tower for a wonderful view towards the northern parts of Schäferiängarna. Listen to the birds singing, and try to spot a summer warbler or a collared flycatcher.

Burial ground from the Iron Age. Together with the larger burial ground north of Kungsgärden (=King's Estate), it is evidence that Ottenby was densely populated in the Iron Age. Where Kungsgärden is today, traces of a settlement from 450 - 880 AD have been found. The most striking features are two upright stones, called Kungsstenarna. They mark a burial site. According to legend, the name Kungsstenarna refers to two kings from the Upland Ynglinga family.
