A stunning view of Beilstein and the Moselle Valley from Metternich Castle. It's worth climbing the 25-meter-high keep of the castle ruins or simply relaxing in the castle garden and enjoying the beautiful view.

As of September 2025: The riverside path along the Flaumbach stream is inaccessible. The access at the Pulgersmühle is completely overgrown (see photo). The access at the end of the path over the bridge is also closed, as the bridge apparently needs repairs (also see photo). A detour is signposted.
