A curious suspension bridge that crosses the Segura River as it passes through Cieza.

Very funny but technical

You cannot miss this archaeological site, one of the most important of its kind in Europe. Located at a strategic point over the Segura River valley, it was discovered in the '80s, excavations brought to light 19 houses and an invaluable collection of objects (ceramics, glass and plaster architectural elements).

In this area you will find what remains of the more than 80 kilometers of irrigation ditches that date back to the Arab and Roman era. Here we can find important vegetation typical of humid areas such as ivy, sarsaparilla, elm or maidenhair.

Here you will find a nice park and a bridge that crosses the river.

The Virgin of Good Success is the patron saint of Cieza and in 1962 they established a small hermitage in her honor in the upper part of the Atalaya. There is a viewpoint with a cross and the views from here are spectacular. In September they take the virgin to the church of the Assumption and a week later they take her back to her hermitage.

This is a flat, easy trail with great views of the river and surrounding mountains. Perfect for a quick getaway out of the city.

This beautiful road on the outskirts of Cieza is lined with fruit trees. In spring it is truly spectacular with beautiful views of the mountains in the distance.
