Dont be put off by the modern concrete exterior of the V&A. Its very nice inside and worth a visit.

The V&A Dundee is the first design museum in Scotland and the first Victoria and Albert Museum outside London. It is also the first building in the United Kingdom designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed on Tuesdays from November to March. Admission is free. Across the road from The Tavern pub is a bench on a patch of green that overlooks the gorgeous St Andrew's Bay. On a clear day you can see for miles up and down the coastline and out to the North Sea.

The discovery is a great attraction, and the ship can be boarded and explored. Right next to the V&A which often has free exhibits. The waterfront is a good place for a walk.
