Tayport has a lovely harbour on tha banks of the River Tay. It's a nice place to stop and watch the boats as they travel towards the River Eden. Tentsmuir Forest lies to the east of the harbour.

Tayport boasts a picturesque harbour that is bustling with life and activity. Whilst it is officially still a working harbour, the majority of the boats and yachts you see today are there for pleasure. There are lots of cafes, pubs, and places to eat and drink close to the harbour.
