Great flat section on prfect gravel

The Silver Route (Vía Verde de la Plata) in the Port of Béjar is part of the old Astorga–Plasencia railway line, now a nature trail for hiking and cycling. Don't miss the Little Station: a bar/restaurant in the old station, with a terrace and railway atmosphere (open during tourist season).

Although there is not much specific historical documentation about this cross, in Candelario it is common to find elements linked to Christian tradition, given that the municipality has a strong cultural and religious identity, also reflected in its festivals and architecture.

The Cross in Candelario Park is located in the municipality of Candelario, in the province of Salamanca (Castilla y León), within the town's Municipal Park. This park is a green space frequently visited by locals and tourists, and the cross is one of its most distinctive features, situated in an elevated area that offers views of the surrounding area.

Very close to the Béjar Greenway, ideal for cyclists and hikers who follow the old railway line. Cuisine: Mediterranean and Spanish, with grilled meats, tapas, and traditional dishes. Specialties: Grilled meats (T-bone steak, Iberian pork shoulder). Burgers (including Wagyu). A variety of tapas, croquettes, and salads. Fresh fish and homemade stews.

Easy bike ride. Beautiful nature and views. Hervas is a nice and beautiful city. Bike path on old railway line easily passable. Tunnel was lit (but slippery clay soil with hard grooves, so be careful).
