平坦な水浴場と湖の眺め

The forest around Lake Wittwesee is an absolutely magical place, especially in autumn.

Crystal-clear water. Perfect for a refreshing dip!

The jetty itself is unfortunately quite rotten, and the bench is falling apart. But the view of the Grosser Tietzensee is fantastic. A truly idyllic spot. You can also really enjoy the total peace and quiet!

The turnoff is recognizable by the prominent spruce trees near the main path. The forest setting is beautiful. Down to the lake, the path quickly narrows and turns into a trail overgrown with weeds such as blackberries and nettles. The swimming area is well-suited and once had a great atmosphere with a beach area. Unfortunately, it's now very overgrown, but it's still suitable for swimming. The shoreline isn't really inviting for a long walk, at least not at the point where the bench is. Next door, about 15 meters away, it looks a bit better. There are a few birch trees there, and it's much brighter. People rarely find their way here these days.

A completely idyllic spot in the far corner of the winding lake. There's no other access to the lake between Feldgriebener Weg and here. You walk along a long, narrow path. As beautiful as the fallen thick tree trunk looks, before you can enter the water, you have to climb over it, leaving only a tiny spot to stand or change clothes. It quickly drops deep into the water!

So quiet and beautiful, and perfect for swimming. You rarely find places like this. Getting here, however, is a bit of a challenge. Some people drive deep into the forest out of habit; after all, the poor forest road hasn't been closed for a long time. A complete oversight by the forestry administration. Cycling is pretty difficult everywhere here!
