If you want to retrace the past, a visit to the Pfenniggrab near Hagen is worthwhile. This megalithic tomb dates back to the Neolithic period and is one of the most impressive megalithic structures on Rügen. According to an ancient legend, a priest of the goddess Hertha once kept offerings here.

If you visit the Kiel waterfront, you should definitely discover the Kieler Bach waterfall! It is considered one of the largest waterfalls in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and plunges from a height of four meters directly into the Baltic Sea.

The Kieler Bach is one of the most famous streams in Jasmund National Park. Its name comes from the hilly wedge it forms together with the Brisnitzer Bach. It plunges down with a four-meter-high waterfall and empties directly onto the beach – an impressive natural experience!

The Ernst Moritz Arndt Viewpoint is an impressive vantage point in Jasmund National Park on Rügen. From here, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the striking chalk cliffs and the Baltic Sea. The vantage point was named after the Rügen-born historian and writer Ernst Moritz Arndt.

The chalk cliffs are very impressive from below, an absolute recommendation.
