The first section of the cycle path to Torrevieja is in good condition. Shortly before Torrevieja, you should leave it and take the side road, as the surface becomes too poor for a racing bike.

South direction is much quieter.😉🚲

I've done this route from San Miguel to the Guardamar antenna on many occasions, and it's really peaceful. Overall, it's fine for road biking, although there are some stretches where the road surface isn't in perfect condition, but it's still passable without any problem. Be careful if it's been raining.

Along the canal to Pilar de la Horadada or to San Miguel de Salinas. The section to San Miguel has small asphalt hills every 500 meters to slow traffic. The road to Pilar has slight damage to the asphalt along the later section.

Rough and uneven asphalt, dirt on the inside of the curves. Still a nice place to ride.
