A fairly difficult hike when you're not trained (which was my case) but not impossible if you take your time and go at your own pace. On the other hand, it's a very beautiful hike! The landscapes are magnificent. There are two parking lots, the Masousa parking lot and another higher up which saves 45 minutes, but the road is very bumpy.

It is the hardest climb that can be faced in the Hecho Valley. Since you take the detour from the main road (the one that connects the town of Hecho with the Selva de Oza), it is approximately 8 km, with a first km downhill and flat, and the next 7 km with an average of 7 %. It is a constant climb, with some ramps above 10% when leaving one of the several horseshoe curves on the climb. The road is narrow but is in perfect condition. It is a climb with hardly any views of the valley since it is covered and surrounded by trees and a lot of vegetation. Guarded shelter with capacity for 75 people. It has ten rooms with bunk beds and all have a bathroom and shower. On the ground floor there is a bar, a kitchen for free use and a dining room where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served. Each afternoon you can order a picnic bag to pick up at breakfast the next day. In case you need it, they rent sheets and blankets. It has a car park very close, so you can get there by car to start very nice excursions from here. It is also a typical climb to do on a road bike.
