バルケータ橋はグアダルキビル川に架かっています。カルツハ島北部への最も重要なアクセスルートの1つであり、科学技術公園やイスラ・マヒカ遊園地の近くにあります。ラ・カルツハとラ・レソラナ、そしてサン・クレメンテ修道院近くの旧市街を結んでいます。

Large suburban wetlands park with wild natural sections, and an excellent nature center. A smooth paved trails runs along the road on the northern border, while an even more scenic hard gravel trail, with a long boardwalk, lures a few meters further south, with quaint overnight tent sites.

Crossing of two excellent car free trails. The corredor follows a creek on alternating sides north to south, while the bike trail on the northside of the Road is equally safe off-road, bi-directional east-to-west.

Excellent smooth gravel trail trough the Olivar Park, that's an even more scenic alternative to the also quite pleasant paved bike trail running on the opposite side of the creek next to the Rosa Luxemburg street.

The Puente del Alamillo is an impressive cable-stayed bridge in Seville, Spain, designed by renowned architect Santiago Calatrava. The bridge was built for the Expo '92 and spans the Guadalquivir River. It is a unique cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge without back supports, with a height of 140 metres and a span of 200 metres.

It is the fifth longest river in the Iberian Peninsula. It is 657 km from the Sierra de Cazorla (source) to Sanlúcar (Atlantic Ocean). On its journey through Andalusia from east to west it passes through cities such as Andújar, Córdoba and Seville. From pre-Roman times it was known as Baetis or Betis, and was called Wad al-Kibir (Great River) by the Arabs from the eleventh century.
