It's worth the short kilometer walk from the main excavation site. The site has already been seriously damaged since its restoration, and aside from taking a picture from above, there are no other options... But whatever. 😉

Crossing of two excellent car free trails. The corredor follows a creek on alternating sides north to south, while the bike trail on the northside of the Road is equally safe off-road, bi-directional east-to-west.

Excellent smooth gravel trail trough the Olivar Park, that's an even more scenic alternative to the also quite pleasant paved bike trail running on the opposite side of the creek next to the Rosa Luxemburg street.

San Juan is in the metropolitan area of Seville, on an opposite bank of the Guadalquivir river. The city is linked by two road bridges and a pedestrian one to the Sevillian district of Triana on the Isla de La Cartuja. San Juan lies to the north of Gelves, northeast of Mairena del Aljarafe and south of Tomares, which all also make up Seville's metropolitan area. The city's name refers to the Fortress of Alfaraj, a known site for Muslim historians, which was likely built under the Umayyads but better known by the palace built by Al-Mu'tamid ibn Abbad in the 11th century

The Mirador del Teatro Romano is a panoramic viewpoint in Santiponce, offering a magnificent view of the Roman Theatre of Italica. This viewpoint was created to give visitors a good perspective of the impressive ruins of the ancient Roman theatre and the surrounding archaeological area. The theatre itself is one of the best preserved parts of the Roman city of Italica and was originally built in the 1st century AD. It was used for all kinds of performances, from drama to music, and could hold thousands of spectators. The mirador offers an elevated view, giving you a good overview of the architecture and scale of the theatre.

Guillena is a small town located in the province of Seville known for its rich history, diverse landscape and beautiful architecture. The historic centre of the town retains much of its original charm and contains impressive buildings such as the church of Nuestra Señora de la Granada, the monastery of Santa Clara and the palace of the Counts of Torreblanca and the Sierra Norte de Sevilla, a large natural area that offers many possibilities. Guillena is also an important centre for agriculture and livestock, with the production of olive oil, wine and citrus fruits, and a rich gastronomy with traditional dishes such as gazpacho and salmorejo.

This monastery was founded in 1301 by Guzmán El Bueno, who played a heroic role in the conquest of Tarifa (1294). From the 19th century onwards it was successively a women's prison, a brewery and a tobacco factory. In 1872 the buildings were declared a national heritage, after which they were restored for many years before being opened to the public. The fortified complex includes a double Gothic church with influences from the Languedoc and the Almohad Mudejar style. In the 15th century the monastery was inhabited by monks of the Hieronymite order. The Patio de los Evangelistas is decorated with murals depicting saints and geometric or floral motifs in pure Mudejar style. In one of the chapels there is a beautiful 17th-century altarpiece by Juan Martínez Montañés.

Bridge that crosses the river and that was remodeled in 2002. Its surroundings are full of rest areas and picnic areas to stop and enjoy the area.
