La Casa Grande in Palencia is a historic building that has undergone several stages over the years. Originally, it was a stately home built in the 19th century. Initially, the Casa Grande was the private residence of a local noble family. Over time, the building has been adapted for various uses, including its transformation into a restaurant, which has retained much of its original structure and charm.

Palencia's Calle Mayor is one of the city's longest and most emblematic streets, stretching over 900 meters. This pedestrian street is known for its arcades formed by 199 columns that flank one of its sides. Calle Mayor is Palencia's commercial center par excellence and is home to many of the city's most important civil monuments. It preserves the spirit and architecture of Palencia's 19th and 20th-century bourgeoisie, with stone buildings in the 19th-century and historicist styles. Some of the notable buildings on this street include the Casa de los Señores García Germán (House of the García Germán Family), the Colegio de Villandrando (Villandrando College), and the Audit Office of Castile and León.

The Church of San Pablo in Palencia is an impressive example of late Gothic architecture, built between the 14th and 16th centuries. This church is part of the Convent of San Pablo, founded by Saint Dominic de Guzmán in the 13th century. The monumental complex includes a spectacular bell gable and a neoclassical façade with the image of Our Lady of Fatima. Inside, the main chapel and several altarpieces and tombs of great artistic value, the work of distinguished artists such as Felipe Vigarny and Francisco Giralte, stand out. The church was declared a National Monument in 1931. Located in a monumental area near the train and bus station, it is one of the most notable complexes in the city.
