La Casa Grande in Palencia is a historic building that has undergone several stages over the years. Originally, it was a stately home built in the 19th century. Initially, the Casa Grande was the private residence of a local noble family. Over time, the building has been adapted for various uses, including its transformation into a restaurant, which has retained much of its original structure and charm.

The Castillo de Sarmiento, also known as the Castillo de Fuentes de Valdepero, is an impressive 15th-century fortification in Fuentes de Valdepero, Palencia, Spain. It was built by the noble Sarmiento family and is one of the most imposing and well-preserved castles of its time, with thick walls of up to 11 metres (36 ft) and a height that was unparalleled in its time.

From this point we started our round at "El Monte Viejo". From here you have different options and directions in which you can ride. The trails that we rode from here were very easy to ride and fun 🇪🇦🚴‍♂️👍
