The view of Moclín Castle from Moriscos Street is considered one of the most picturesque in the town center. Just outside Olivares, there's a small rest area that even had a natural fountain. Today, it appears abandoned, primarily because the fountain has dried up and perhaps also because it hasn't received the necessary maintenance attention to allow people to use it.

The village of Olivares is divided into two parts as a natural consequence of the passage of the Velillos River through the town. The water quality is not the best due to its color, although this may be due to some construction work being carried out upstream.
