Although you have to deviate from the main track, there is a viewpoint at the Salt de Gualba BRUTAL. I imagine that today (3/1/26), after the rains of the last sunrise, it is at its best scenic moment. Be careful when going down to Gualba, so as not to get stuck going up the main track, we went down the lane that goes to the campsite. And, once we were inside (and dodged a couple or three or four fences), we had a hard time getting out (they were on vacation and all the accesses were closed).

It doesn't have grand monuments, but it does have that village feel that doesn't need to put on airs: low houses, a quiet square, a river with swimming areas, and paths that wind through the woods, hermitages, and farmhouses. It's close to a train station, making it a good starting or ending point for a hike. People come for nature, not for show, and if you venture a little further, you'll be surrounded by trees with no cell service in ten minutes. Ideal for those seeking peaceful routes and charming, unpretentious spots.

Due to its location, parking areas, and restaurant... It's a special place to visit. After storm "Jana" on March 16, 2025, which left abundant water and snow... It's at 100% capacity, thus being at its best. 🤩🏞️

If you get close to Sta Fé, it's worth doing one of the circular tours that go around the Swamp. From the wall of the rush we could see how a black crow was weighing.

Chestnuts

It is a very busy area of the Montseny Natural Park, so to enjoy it calmly, I recommend visiting it during the week.

The river in this passage through Gualba is very interesting, since it has the necessary ingredients to make the walk excellent...🤩 With large trees, clean and fresh water, fountains...... Fantastic 👍🏞️🤩
