Large village where we can find several bars and shops. From here we can go up to the gate or follow the valley of Aran, either up to find Vielha or towards Les. From Les we can take the Col de Menté, highly recommended, or go in search of the Col de Balés - incredible.

Spectacular path that goes towards the town of Canejant. It is hard because it saves many meters in a few kilometers but it represents the old road that leaves you at the gates of the town. Stone curves that zigzag.

A small hermitage at the end of the village of Les that is perfectly preserved. The chapel is on one side of the road so it is not difficult to see it when you run past it.

Beautiful town that is located at the bottom of the valley formed by the Garonne river itself and that goes in the direction of France. The center is in a unique location, surrounded by immense mountains on both sides as far as the eye can see!

The Haro de Les festival has a pagan origin. On the summer solstice, a fir trunk about 12 meters high was burned to thank the gods for the success of the crops. Currently, it is a folklore festival declared intangible heritage of humanity by UNESCO and is celebrated with typical Aranese dances on June 24, Saint John's Day.

Eth Haro, in Aranese. In the town of Les, the last town in Spain before reaching France. In this square the traditional festival of burning the Haro, a fir tree trunk between 10 and 12 meters long, takes place during the San Juan festivities, with typical dances, live music, dances with fire, mulled wine... During the year we can find the Haro that is going to burn the following year.

This Romanesque chapel dedicated to Sant Blai dates from the 12th century. It is located next to the municipality of Les but it is outside the urban core, which makes the visit very quiet and pleasant. The setting, as expected in the Aran Valley, is beautiful. The size and arrangement of the walls has given rise to the theory that this building was part of a larger one.
