The main beach of Hospitalet.

Nice vantage point!

With a length of 1,800 m, l'Arenal beach is the largest in l'Hospitalet de l'Infant and the closest to the town. It is a wide beach with fine sand, with two different faces: on the northern side, it is an urban beach, easily accessible from the promenade, with a diverse range of activities and very suitable for families with children, thanks to the shallow depth; and in the southern part, it is a natural beach, with beautiful dunes full of Mediterranean vegetation, a white pine forest and a small marsh with reeds. In front of this beach, near the soccer field, there is the Nautical Base, an information point and reservation management for nautical and sports activities, such as kayaking, light sailing, mountain biking, kitesurfing*, paddle surfing, windsurfing, etc. In the summer, there is a childcare service. Old bridge that was built in the 19th century, mainly to bring the stones from Les Guixeres to the town for the construction of the New Church. Its name comes from the stream that passes just below it.
