Playa de la Arena is a popular, small beach with fine black volcanic sand in Santiago del Teide on Tenerife's west coast, known for clean water, good infrastructure with restaurants and sunbed rentals, lifeguards and free Wi-Fi, but often strong waves which can make swimming difficult.

Actually, it's a very beautiful, largely unspoiled beach. Unfortunately, as of July 2025, there will be a major construction site right behind the beach, which is supposed to be built there.
