A beautiful village nestled in the Burgos region of the Sierra de la Demanda.

We spent the weekend camping there and had a great time.

It is a 4km climb on the BU-813 with an average gradient of 5.1%. As can be seen, the slope ranges between 4 and 6% without hard ramps (only one at 9%) and relatively constant with several horseshoe curves at the exit of the town but without excessive complication.

From this point you can see the views of the Úzquiza Reservoir, from a distant panorama but where you can observe the dam as a whole.

Villasur de Herreros is nestled in the Alto Arlanzón valley, at the foot of the Sierra de la Demanda, twenty minutes from Burgos. Since its origins it has been an important crossroads and constitutes one of the main gateways to the Sierra de la Demanda.

Beautiful green life that appears in this area of the Sierra de la Demanda and where there is a beautiful path that crosses the woods. The sand track is a natural space away from towns where you can take a nice walk.

Alarcia is a town located in the province of Burgos. It forms part of the Montes de Oca region and is located between the Úzquiza reservoir, to the west, and the San Millán peak of the Sierra de la Demanda, to the southeast. A pretty town worth a visit.
