Tortuga Islet, also known as Fontica Island, is a small islet located on the eastern coast of Gijón, in the parish of Somió, just east of Cape San Lorenzo and near Rinconín Park.

This beach of just over a kilometer is located just east of the mouth of the Ría de Villaviciosa. It must be taken into account that it undergoes great variations with the tides.
