Small refuge located at 1,510m within the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park. It is reached by a forest track with quite a steep slope, suitable for mountain biking. It is a good stop to rest, eat or spend the night if you are doing long routes like Cavalls del Vent. It has basic services: bunk beds with mattresses and blankets, showers, dining area and kitchen. If it is open, it offers half board; if it is closed, it can be used as an emergency shelter. It is not a spectacular place, but it is useful and well located if you happen to be passing by.

The Niu de l'Àliga Refuge is located at an altitude of 2,500 meters at the top of Tosa d'Alp, in the municipality of Bagà. This refuge is an iconic building at the highest point of the La Molina ski resort and offers spectacular views of the Cerdanya valley, Ripollès, and Berguedà. It is a privileged spot to enjoy sunsets and moonlit nights. The refuge has capacity for 27 people and offers services such as a cable car, blankets, showers, mobile charging, Wi-Fi, a bar, and a restaurant.

Small but nice refuge on the “Cavalls del Vent” tour. I have rarely enjoyed such good hospitality!

Accommodation and catering options on the "Cavalls del Vent" tour. The building looks "sophisticated" from a distance, but it is a bit old and the hut itself is quite simple.

Very nice hut with absolutely warm staff. Good starting point for the multi-day tour "Cavalls del Vent" as you can leave your car close to the hut (parking on the mountain road).

Great mountain refuge with excellent views. They serve picnics, dinners and breakfasts.
