For years we have been walking through this space, feeling the cliffs and the flora of the area. The aggression to the environment has been terrible to the north and south of the place for fifty years. This place had remained unchanged during that time. Nobody knows the reason, but two years ago a construction company of terribly ugly buildings bought the land and is building a real detritus of buildings as it has already done further north. The entire coast near Torrevieja and Orihuela is being built up so that occasional tourists can wet their asses in the old Mediterranean. Sad. Very sad.

From the tower you can enjoy a great panoramic view of the Laguna de La Mata and the surrounding nature reserve. It is a popular spot for birdwatchers and photographers who can enjoy spectacular views in the tranquil nature. The area is also good for cycling, as the natural park has several trails and viewpoints that allow you to explore the diverse flora and fauna of the region.

A beautiful corner and a beautiful path on the beach - this path is partly sandy and partly rocky.

Lovely beach here and plenty of good eateries, nearby is a market held each Wednesday. The church and square are a hive of activety in the evenings.

This is a path that will unite the entire Spanish Mediterranean coast. It starts in Catalonia, where it is already well established, and ends in the Cádiz area.
