In the middle of the Pacific, the island of Tahiti is a legendary travel destination. The word "Tahiti" alone conjures up images of an idyllic island paradise. In the capital Papeete (Tahitian Pape’ete), on the other hand, modern life pulsates and you can find all the amenities of a big city.
