この塔は、いくつかの高台にある展望台の一つで、鳥に敬意を払いながら、ラグーン、アシ原、干潟を見渡すことができます。そこからは、渡り鳥や留鳥を四季を通じて静かに観察でき、湿地を移動する大きな群れを発見することもよくあります。

The port of Le Teich, once dedicated to oyster farming, has become a charming marina. It's an ideal place to relax, picnic, or enjoy the swimming area, but also for walks, bike rides, or electric boat rides, and of course, the opportunity to visit the Ornithological Reserve, as well as a children's play area.

Approx. 80 swinging steps up the spiral staircase... A head for heights is recommended, the view is beautiful.

With this award, the Charlemagne Prize Board wants to send a signal that Jewish life is a natural part of Europe and that there must be no place for anti-Semitism in Europe. Jewish life is an important part of European history and the present - now and in the future. (...)
