This is the oldest windmill in Avesnois (dated before 1789). Built of blue stone rubble, this cylindrical mill stands 14 meters high on the left bank of the Sambre. The wings present a rare feature north of Paris: they are Berton type wings (wings of the Vendée mills), there are four Berton mills north of Paris. The wings of the mill stopped definitively before 1877.

The superb Vieux-Reng waterfall, a little-known site in the vicinity of Maubeuge. It is an old waterfall of the old village mill, dating from the 17th century, on the Trouille. The recent cutting of trees now makes it possible to see the church and to have a beautiful set

The Moulin de la Parapette dates from before 1789. Built in blue stone rubble, this cylindrical mill stands 14 meters high on the left bank of the Sambre at a place called La Folie-d'en-haut.
