The 13th-century Protestant church in Tarthun is named after John the Baptist

In addition to the castle wall, the Protestant Church of St. Stephan with its tower from the 12th century and the neoclassical nave renovated in 1839 is one of Unseburg's sights.

The exterior of the church is very well maintained. Unfortunately, it's closed.
