Pont-en-Royans is a charming French town and commune in the Rhône-Alpes region, in the Isère department, in the district of Grenoble and canton of Pont-en-Royans. The old houses perched above the Bourne in Pont-en-Royans, a municipality in the Vercors Regional Natural Park, are picturesque in their charm. This unusual and particularly photogenic ensemble can be admired from the Picard bridge and the banks of the river. The walk along the water's edge also has the attraction of picnic tables and a waterfall for swimming. Worth visiting: the Water Museum, a recreational, scientific and cultural space dedicated to water in all its forms. This place also has a water bar, which brings together more than 1,500 bottles of water from around the world.

Superb walk in the Vercors

You have to go take a look before or after visiting the Choranche cave. It's not far at all and the trail is accessible even to children. The cave is easily visible (staying outside) without specific equipment. You can then go see the waterfall.
