The Chapel of Notre-Dame-de-la-Roque is located at the end of a path on the summit of Jouques. Dating back to the 11th century, this was the first church in Jouques. The place is quiet and offers magnificent views.

Cycling to the Pont Mirabeau in Jouques is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the serene countryside and rich heritage of Provence. This historic bridge, built in the 18th century, spans the River Arc and is surrounded by stunning scenery.

We stopped descending here because it was too steep and too dangerous without a real path. It no longer felt like adventurous hiking but like climbing.

This path is very demanding! There are some steep parts, which are more reminiscent of climbing than hiking. The path can be found with a yellow marker. In some places the path becomes unrecognizable. The view is very good. Sturdy shoes and concentration are required. The way down is not recommended.
