The river is easy to cross in summer. It looks like there used to be a bridge there, at least some of the "remains" look like it.

If you're heading to the restaurant (a dead end for racing bikes), you should have cash with you, as cards are not accepted. The asphalt road there is quite bumpy - unpleasant both for the ascent and the descent.
