The Church of Saints Dominic and Justin is located in the hamlet of San Pellegrino, in the municipality of Firenzuola, along the historic and picturesque Strada Montanara. A building of significant importance for the Apennine region, the church represents a significant spiritual and historical-architectural landmark in the area.

Built by Count Cesare Mattei, it consists of countless rooms connected by various staircases, a kind of labyrinth with several towers. Worth a visit.

Good morning, wonderful road at the gates of Bologna completely passable after the floods of the last two years. The landscape has changed a lot after these events and is in some ways even wilder. Highly recommended to reach Quinzano (from Bologna 400 meters of altitude difference for about 40 km!) passing through hills, sheer cliffs covered with Mediterranean vegetation and the characteristic mountains of Formiche and Bibele. Passing near the latter you will find on the left the mixed Etruscan-Gallic village of great historical and archaeological importance and on the right in the valley bottom the Zena waterfalls which after two years of very intense rains are particularly suggestive

During the summer weekends it is a land of roaring motorbikes but during the week the SS65 of Futa is a paradise of peace and beauty to be enjoyed by bicycle, it is automatic to stop at the Passo della Raticosa and enjoy the view, clean air and peace and the bar is a good excuse to delay as much as possible the departure from that mystical place...
