A church from the 12th century, the time when this bastide was founded. Beautifully painted, it would now need a gentle renovation.

The beautiful Church Notre-Dame de l'Assomption is located right in the large square of Labastide-d'Armagnac. At the south-east corner of Place Royale, the line of porticoes surrounding the square is abruptly interrupted by the imposing tower of the church founded in the medieval period, between the 14th and 15th centuries.

Magnificent village dating from the 1200s. Beautiful courtyard where you can taste Armagnac in the shade of the arcades. A short tour to "our lady of cyclists" is required thereafter.

Nice historical village square, very little was going on here in May: only a handful of tourists and locals were to be found. A small restaurant with an outdoor terrace was open and is highly recommended.

At 2 km from Saint-Justin in the direction of Gabarret le Château, the 4 ha Parc de Fondat overlooks a small valley hidden in the woods. Populated by gigantic trees, this fairytale setting has something to delight young and old alike. Rebuilt in 1607 and then renovated in the 19th century, the castle and its picturesque architectural outbuildings, all the listed ISMH (Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments) are remarkable: the large Medici style pavilion, the 17th century cellar, the water mirror or the 18th century dovecote. But we will especially remember the Park, the only ISMH classified park in the Landes, and its exceptional collection of rare trees such as a giant zelkova, an ancient Siberian elm labeled "Remarkable Tree of France" and classified as a vulnerable species on the IUCN Red List.
